About GO! Dodgeball
GO! DODGEBALL has been going strong for 8 years and we are excited to launch registration for our 9th edition of the tournament!
The tournament serves as the main fundraiser for Growing Opportunities International (GO!) a Winnipeg-based non-profit that supports youth-focused community projects in East Africa.
As always, GO! Dodgeball guarantees:
* 2 full days of dodgeball that will run on time, every time!!
* One of the most affordable registration fees of any major tournament!
* An amazing venue at Dakota Field House with Air conditioning, 6 courts, hardwood floors, and full curtain & nets on every court!
* Ample seating at every court!
* 4 divisions - Women | Men | Mixed Competitive | Mixed Rec
* Cash prizes for the winners!
* Minimum 5 round robin games + 1 play-off game
* Equal streaming and commentary for every team during round robin!
* Awesome locally made and designed merch!

* On-site canteen with hot & cold eats & drinks.

And on top of all that, ALL PROCEEDS from the tournament directly fund GO!'s projects in East Africa which include a Nursery School in Rwanda and an after school sports program in Tanzania!

Growing Opportunities International
GO! is a Winnipeg-based non-profit organization that partners with motivated individuals in East Africa who have sustainable project ideas to positively impact youth in their communities. GO! founder, Amanda Furst, has spent numerous years in East Africa collaborating with GO!’s partners to help them bring their ideas to life.
GO!’s first partnership was with Marceline Nirere, a nursery school teacher in Musha, Rwanda. The partnership resulted in the creation of the St. Laurent Nursery School. The construction began in 2008 and 16 years later, Marceline continues to offer quality education to over 100 students every year.
GO!’s newest partnership, with Moshi Kassim, resulted in the creatation of GO! for Goals (G4G) - an after-school sport and educaiton program for youth in the village of Mlamleni. G4G uses sports to teach valuable life skills such as teamwork and respect.
